Spent the afternoon in the garden. Transplanted the mint to the new parking strip garden plot, to make room for where I eventually want the chicken coop to go in the back yard. Yanked out a whole lot of weeds and discovered some strawberries under some of them (yum!). Mowed the lawn. Planted some sunflowers and the last of the tomato starts. I tried to get Ella to eat a raspberry but she spit it out saying it was yucky. Then, she picked a green raspberry and tried to eat that instead. (!!) I watered everything and put some cages up around some floppy tomato plants. Then, we had crackers and goat chevre with pomegranate jelly for dinner. Now, Ella is asleep, and my arms are all scratchy from weeds and raspberries. A pretty good day!
