Spotty Cat was missing for four days after a fire destroyed his home on N. 60th St in Philly on October 25th, 2013. Sadly, he was discovered after being hit by a car and was brought to Ryan Veterinary Hospital at Penn Vet by a good Samaritan. The staff there follows our FB page and new that we were looking for a cat that matched his description so they called us! Spotty had a broken jaw, head injuries, he needed 3 surgeries, a feeding tube and ended up loosing an eye but was a fighter and never complained! Spotty (and his family) had a very long road to recovery but thanks to his amazing foster, Mary Kury, his amazing doctors at Penn Vet, especially Dr Fink, and his hundreds of supporters, who helped us cover his medical care for the family, which was over $6000, after almost 3 months of rehab and love, Spotty was reunited with his owners morning! His canine sibling, Wolf will be reunited with him and his owners tomorrow and his feline siblings will be reunited later this week! Thanks to everyone who has supported, donated, followed and rooted for Spotty! We say this often on this page and its so true yet again, it takes a village!!
