Srinagar police books 39 profiteering shopkeepers Srinagar: Today Srinagar police launched a special drive against profiteering shopkeepers and booked about 39 shopkeepers including chicken sellers, butchers, green grocers, bakers under section 3/7 Essential Commodities Act, police sources said. In these connections 39 FIRs have been lodged in different police stations of Srinagar city. All the 39 shopkeepers were presented before the local magistrates and the cases were challaned. SSP Srinagar said that the drive will continue during the week.
