Stand Up Paddle Gear race 2 of the Sydney Dup Downwind Series will be held on SUNDAY 17th from Long Reef to North Avalon. Conditions at the moment are looking good and competitors can look forward to a challenging downwind run. As per the original post on Sea Breeze there is no 126 or inflatable class due to safety issues. Additionally there is no short course available due to a surf carnival being held at Newport. These decisions were made with consideration for the safety of all competitors. Registration will be at Long Reef (Brownwater) between 12 noon and 1:30pm. Race briefing will be at 1:30pm. We plan to get the race underway at 2pm. Please remember that each competitor needs an approved PFD, LEG ROPE & Hi VIZ TOP.
