Started with a group of 360 potential jurors. Waited, waited, waited. Several were selected for morning trials. Had a lunch break. Waited some more. Other jurors were selected for afternoon hearings. Waited some more. Group got down to about 60 of us left. 19 criminal trials were heard today....the rest of us non-selectees were dismissed and sent home around 3 p.m. Wouldve liked to have been selected...but also relieved, because I was worried about getting out in time to pick up Emma for her gymnastics class. My 3rd time with a juror summons and 3rd time not being selected. Maybe I should stop wearing my Death Penalty Rocks t-shirt!?! 😉
