Stay involved and let your voices be heard if you have an opinion about the options here. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Lincoln School PTA Date: Sat, Nov 15, 2014 at 5:02 PM Subject: Cite Council Meeting To: Greetings PTA members! Just a reminder that there will be a cite council meeting on Tuesday, November 18th at 3:00pm in the multipurpose room. Although it is a cite council, it will also be an open forum to discuss the restructuring of our schools. Kevin Dickerson will be in attendance and will try to answer any questions we may have. There has been some momentum behind Option A1. ( Closing of Miller Valley and Washington. Creating K-4 at LN, TH and AJ. Creating one 5-6 at GMMS. Creating one 7-8 at MH. ) Keep in mind that Option A1 was not created by the Governing Board, it was put together by PTA/ PTO at AJ, GMMS and PHS. If you are opposed to Option A1, it is very important that you attend the cite council meeting to voice your concerns and please share this information with other Lincoln parents you may know. The Governing Board meeting is also on Tuesday, November 18th at 5:30pm. If you have a question or a comment for the Board members concerning Option A or Option A1, arrive a little early so that you can fill out a flash card with your questions or concerns and they will be presented to the Board members. Thank you and have a great weekend! Trina Fortner Lincoln PTA President 928-420-2424
