Stephen and I decided that it would be fun to have his cousins kids, Emma and Jackson, be our flower girl and ring bearer. If it werent for me babysitting them, we would have never met, so it seemed fitting to have them play a role in the wedding. After getting a thumbs up from the parents, I had been neglecting actually asking Emma and Jackson because I didnt know if it was proper to just tell them, to get them a gift when I ask, etc. (Im new to this wedding thing, cant you tell). I think Emma sensed my dilemma, because while at lunch the other day, I sit down in front of her and the first words out of her mouth: E: Andrea, I think I should be your flower girl, and Jackson should be the ring bearer. A: Oh really? Is that what you think it best? E: Yeah. A: K, cool. Problem solved.
