Not your garden variety, “should I have two biscuits or three?” style of thinking. I’m talking about the sort of thinking that deals with eternal ideas: time, space, death, etc. An intellectual slut loves to think so much that they’ve eroticised the act. They’re not fussy about what idea they think about, just as long as there is an idea to consume. Thought for thought’s sake. An intellectual slut derives intense pleasure from thinking, or any environment in which thinking is actively promoted . The use of slut is purposeful, in order to reclaim it from those who’d use it as a pejorative or derogatory term for a woman. Further to that, a slut is actually somebody who puts pleasure as their raison d’être. Society can’t handle sluts because they eschew the moral sensibilities of an elite moralizing chatterbox who think everybody should conform to their miserable and not to mention oh, sooo crappy ethical framework. Ahem!
