Stranded passengers being airlifted from Feb 08 in Bandipora BANDIPORA, JANUARY 29: According to Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, the air sorties between Bandipora and Gurez would be run with effect from February 08, 2014 to airlift the stranded passengers. The passengers who intend to avail the facility shall register themselves with Liaison Officers in Tehsil Offices of Bandipora and Gurez. All such intending passengers will submit Bank draft with Tehsildar Bandipora and cash payment against proper receipt with Tehsildar Gurez (in case of non-availability of banking facility). Passengers for airlifting would be considered as per the registration thus made on the basis of first come first serve.
