Stranraer Lifeboat was launched at 1702hrs this afternoon to the aid of 2 persons on rocks at Corsewall lighthouse with a jetski, the persons were attended to by Stranraer coastguard until the lifeboat arrived on scene at 1720hrs where the lifeboat crew asessed the position and approach to the casualties, the lifeboat then extracted the casualties safely where they took them to the Lifeboat landrover waiting at nearby Dally Bay at 1740hrs which then took the casualties to A and E, one suffering from an injured ankle the other from cold. The Lifeboat then returned to the scene at 1800hrs where they recovered the Jet Ski then made the long tow back to Wig bay slip where it and the Lifeboat were then both recovered at 2020hrs, Lifeboat rehoused ready for service 2115hrs. A good job done by al in attendance !!!!!!
