Students for International Development is seeking passionate and committed individuals who want an intensive field-based introduction to international development to lead our initiatives in agriculture, commerce, child welfare and healthcare in Kenya and Peru during the summer of 2014. SID is a volunteer-run non-profit that offers the most affordable international volunteer program in Canada, including a comprehensive training program in overseas community project management. We are having two rounds of applications. The first application deadline is 11:59pm, November 1st, 2013, and the second deadline is 11:59pm, November 22nd, 2013. We are also holding two information sessions about our program and applications, which will be held on October 24th and November 14th, 2013. Both sessions will be held from 6pm-8pm in room 4422 at the OISE building, 252 Bloor Street W, University of Toronto.
