Subhannallah, we often forget that the very words we use can be uttered to our own detriment. With a booming comedy industry where you find many Muslims, we must remember that the etiquette of Islam must be observed even while joking. Weve all been socialized in an environment where in the name of freedom of expression nothing is deemed sacred and everything is subject to jokes and mockery and unfortunately many of us Muslims are falling into this trap forgetting that Freedom of expression in Islam is never at the detriment of the respect we owe to Allah aza wajal, our beloved Prophet (SAW) and our fellow brothers and sisters in Islam. And Allah (SWT) knows best.
