I have had about all I am going to take by these high flaootin’ so called literary snobs. It is really getting underneath my craw. In one of my groups someone just asked, ”Is it ok to be a bad book and sell millions like 50 Shades?” What the frick??? Whether it is ok in anyone’s book, or not the fact of the matter is … that it IS! It is selling and do you know why??? Let me give you a big fat clue. Because that writer gave the readers what they wanted. OMG!! That’s a new concept! Take a good look around you. Who are buying books? Have you ever asked them what they want to read? Or are you too busy creating art? Wanna create art? Fine. Wanna sell books? Give them what they want. Rant over.
