Sue Sparrowhawk A volunteer writes: Cena looks like a giant elderly Chihuahua. He must have been a beauty in his prime. I can picture him, fox like, clad in a vibrant red coat, wagging a bushy tail, smelling the air with his pointy nose and scanning his premises with his slanted eyes.. A beautiful and proud Shepherd. Cena is thirteen and was found as a stray. He is extremely thin, the result probably of his advanced age and poor care. He walks with difficulty, slowly but surely and even climbs the stairs, with help. He is willful. Cena eliminated at our two walks and this is why, he has preserved a well groomed coat. He has a lot of dignity. Cena is tired and keeps his head low. He lifts it a bit sometimes but not enough for me to picture his still beautiful face. His appetite is poor although I did not try roatbeef. Cena seems to like to be petted. He has no aggression I him. The nearing of other dogs does not seem to bother him. Cena is a very old man who needs a calm and loving place to rest to spend what is left of his life. Would you like to be his hero and give at last Cena the care, love and respect he deserves.
