Summer Vacation Boarding Tip #1 The most important thing to remember when boarding your pet is to have them UTD on all required vaccines. LOPCI requires all dogs be vaccinated with Bordatella, Distemper and Rabies and HIGHLY recommends the Canine Influenza vaccine. Call your vet a few weeks prior to making your boarding reservation to ensure that your pet is UTD with these vaccines. Its a good rule of thumb to allow a vaccine at least two weeks to run though your pets system before placing them in a day care or kennel environment.
