Sun goes into Sagittarius on 11.22.14 at 4:37 AM EST. Whenever I hear the word truth I think of Sagittarius. Sagittarius with its gathered understanding of Wholeness from Scorpio takes what is hidden and reveals for all the world to see. In this culmination of ideals the Sagittarius has taken on the role as prophet and reveal’s to the world the knowledge of the Ancients. Sagittarius is the 9th sign of the Zodiac. Element: Fire Ruling planet: Jupiter Gender: Masculine Ruling Body Parts: Hips and Liver The symbol of Sagittarius is represented by the Centaur which has the lower half of the body of a horse and the upper torso arms and Head of a human. In it’s hands the Centaur is holding a bow and arrow with the arrow pointing toward the heavens. In Greek Mythology Sagittarius is known by Kheiron (Chrion) the oldest and wisest of the Centaurs. The Centaur has the lower half of the body of a horse and the upper torso arms and Head of a human. Kheiron was a skilled teacher in the arts of hunting, medicine, music, puzzles and prophecy. Kheiron was immortal and trained Gods such as Achilles and many others. Even though Kheiron was immortal he gave up his immortality after being injured for the life of Prometheous. This allowed human kind to have fire. Saggitarius goes out into the world with its knowledge and defends the honor of truth of the mystics. Imagine the journey in life that has brought you to the point of the evolutionary pattern of Sagittarius. Imagine the stability of the four legged horse with its feet firmly planted on the ground. With this stability you are able to withstand any force that tries to uproot you. The body of the human is connected to the universal all knowing mind. With the understanding that Sagittarius is firmly rooted in place it gives you the energy and freedom to aim for the heavens. Here is the great Sagittarius aiming so high and shooting your arrow in abundance into any direction that that suits your fancy. Sagittarius has all the knowledge of the Universe from its “Scorpio” adventures into the catacombs of the soul. It just needs to connect the dots to “remember it”. Once the dots have been connected the Sag is free to be the distributor of information. The Sag is here to unlock the “Chamber of Secrets” that is stored in Scorpio and to tell the world what it has learned. Whatever it may be the Sag must synthesize the inherent and intuitive truth that is theirs. But, what is their truth? How can the Sag ignite the flame of truth that is so readily abundant in their soul? How can the Sag remember what it has learned from all the previous signs combined? First the Sag must accept its role as the student. Being a student is a life long endeavor. The Sag must understand that in order to be a great teacher they must also be the greatest student first. One of the ways of learning for the Sag is they need to make people a focal point of their own understanding. Learning the ways of others is just one part of the equation. Unlike the relationship bonding of Libra the Sag must experience the truths of others so they can accept another persons ideas without judgment. They must embrace the ideas of others even if those ideas do not fall in line with what the Sag believes. Sometimes the Sag will refuse to take advice from another person trying to prove that the way of the Sag is the correct and only way. When the Sag becomes stuck to its own beliefs the shadow rears its head. When the shadow takes over this turns the Sag from curious to dogmatic. The fear is that the Sag will live and die from their beliefs and if those beliefs are wrong it will destroy them. When the Sag believes in something it is very difficult to accept that belief as being wrong. The Sag must find the joy of a joint venture and have admiration for those who come up with ideas that could be better than their own. Secondly, the Sag must travel and experience life so their beliefs can mature into one that benefits all human kind. They must face what they do not know. Like the Star Trek saying; the Sag “Must seek out new life and civilization, they must boldly go where no one has gone before”. The Sag must travel, not only in the physical world but also in the mind. Sag’s must enter into far-away domains with their imagination. This is especially the case when they are children. Sagittarian children sagaciously find their path in reading as it comes easy for them. Sometimes though the Sag is afraid of dealing with the reality of life’s situations. They are afraid to look at the truth of a situation and deal with it accordingly. So they will use their travel experience to “get away”. When this side of the Sagittarian shadow comes forward the Sag will look for ways to escape because deep down inside they fear setting up roots. The Sag feels if they make a claim to one place they will be stuck there forever. Never again able to feel the joys of a Cretan Sunset, or Surf the waves of Rainbow bay or travel cross-country by car. When things do not fall in line for the Sag you will hear them use the excuse that a certain place they live doesn’t fit into their plans and they must move. Only to move and realize that where they moved wasn’t conducive in the long run for their overall growth either. The Sag will get into a rut of always feeling as though they must go whenever the fun slows down. The Sag in Shadow feels that if a place isn’t fun than they have to “deal” with the reality of a certain place. It is important for the Sag to create a home base. A place they can retreat to when they are weary of their travels. As with the legs of the Centaur the Sag must ground themself somewhere. They must realize that it only benefits them to have a place to call home. That actually dealing with a heavy situation face to face will bring them joy in the long run. The quest can be exhausting and the Sag needs the peace of mind of having a place to setup roots knowing that at any moment when their batteries are charged they can go on another adventure. Third, the Sag must take their ever-evolving role as the student and the traveler and live the truth they have experienced. Through their living experiences and cultivating their truth the Sagittarius becomes the greater teacher. Not only to others but also to themselves. Sometimes the Sag with their all knowing can sometimes not stop to realize the proper perspective they achieve while living their truth. They are so busy seeking they forget to live. The Sag is buried in expectations that have been created by others and sucking the life force from the Sag. That Sag is the epitome of fun. They are exuberant and like the Planet Jupiter everything the Sag touches expands. The Sag must always realize that even though they may feel like a child with their curiosity they must always revert back to that feeling when things get heavy. For children are the inspiration for Love and with that perspective closely at hand the Sag can always rise above any darkness.
