Supporting the Football Community Support Men’s Cancer Research with Beard150 Thankyou to the many people that responded to our call for support. There is still time to get on board and show support for your community. One in two men will develop cancer in their lifetime, with prostate, melanoma, bowel and lung cancers being the most commonly diagnosed cancers in men. Research to find a cure for these cancers is critical and we call on all clubs and referee associations across the state to register with Beard150 to help to raise funds for men’s cancer support and awareness. The challenge is as easy as registering, growing a beard and asking your friends, family and club members to donate to help beat mens cancers. All funds raised will support Cancer Council Queensland; research into mens cancers; support and information for men and their families; as well as accommodation for men and their families who need to drop everything and travel to undergo treatment.
