Surgeon just came out. Shes finished. Theyre working on waking her up and extubating. They were able to put a devise and close the hole. The hole was quite a bit bigger than originally thought and it was allowing twice the normal amount of blood reach the lung. Her oxygen rich blood was mixing with the oxygen poor blood. To give you an idea, the devise is a soft layered disc and bigger than the size of a quarter. It will permanently stay where he placed it today! She will be on asprin for atleast 6 months. We should get to go see her in about 30 minutes! Shell have to lay flat for the next 6 hours! Thanks for the prayers! Well continue with more updates later!
