Suspicious Vehicle Fires – Alice Springs Alice Springs Detectives are investigating a suspicious fire which destroyed two vehicles on Bath Street early Sunday morning. Detective Acting Superintendent Peter Malley said security guards responded to an alarm at the back of an office block at around 4:55am and located two vehicles alight. “Emergency Services were immediately contacted,” Detective Senior Sergeant Malley said. “Firefighters extinguished the blaze, however by that point; both vehicles, a Nissan Micra and a Toyota Prado, had been completely destroyed,” Detective A/Superintendent Malley said. “Police urge anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed any suspicious activity, to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
