Suzuki Gixxer sweeps NDTV car & bike awards Excelsior Correspondent New Delhi, Jan 20: Suzuki Gixxer stole the show at the 10th NDTV Car and Bike Awards ceremony. The Gixxer has won three of the most competitive categories namely - NDTV Two Wheeler of The Year, CNB Viewers Choice Two Wheeler of The Year and Motorcycle Of The Year (upto 160 CC). The awards for the bikes were heavily contested, with over 30 bikes being launched in 2014 in India. Suzuki Gixxer won both the Viewers Choice Awards and the Jury Award which is an affirmation of the bikes reputation as being the best on the road. The Awards panel consisted of eminent jury members from various fields, including Dilip Chhabria, Gul Panag, Racers Aditya Patel & Karun Chandhok, Dr V Sumantran, Kamlesh Patel, Pablo Chaterji, Managing Editor, Mans World, Dhruv Behl, Editor, Auto X and Sulajja Firodia Motwani of Kinetic Engineering, with Siddharth Vinayak Patankar, Editor-Auto, NDTV Group. This year was the completion of a decade of the NDTV CNB Awards. These awards are keenly contested by all the car and bike manufacturers, and the outcome of the Awards is eagerly awaited by automobile manufacturers and buyers alike. NDTV Car and Bike Automobile Awards celebrated their 10th edition in style, with a glitzy and power-packed ceremony at the Buddh International Circuit in Noida.
