(Swamiji introduces the head of the Buddhist Royal Order in Cambodia, who is present for Satsang.) In India, as per constitution, Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs, are all considered Hindus. It’s so nice, the head of the Buddhist Royal Order and Sangha is here to bless us and grace us; I am so happy to have His Holiness will share a few words, his blessings, then I’ll continue the Satsang. (His Holiness speaks.) “Thank you to the Mahamandaleshwara and the Hindu people who came to Cambodia from India. You have brought good luck to Cambodia. Cambodia received culture from India and Hinduism. In Cambodia we’ve had three languages. The first one we used Sanskrit. Pele language, and the last is a modern tongue, Cambodian language. The Cambodian people use three languages in the same time. Sanskrit language came to Cambodia by Hinduism. Pele language come to Cambodia by Buddhism. All who come to see Cambodia, all you see by yourself, right now, the biggest temple of Hinduism is in Cambodia. Hinduism leaves very strong waves in Cambodia from the past time. Buddhism also come to Cambodia, but Buddhism is not so strong as Hinduism. But different of the kings follow Hinduism and some Buddhism. It means that Hinduism and Buddhism also stayed in Cambodia with peace, never had a problem. We stay all together, Buddhism and Hinduism. But during the 16th century, the Buddhism becomes popular in Cambodia than Hinduism. Even though the Buddhism has become more popular in Cambidia, the Cambodian people have never forgot, still respect and still follow the Hinduism. Because of the believeness and the respectiveness Cambodian people do not forget the Hinduism, we celebrate and pray for the God Vishnu for the Shiva and Brahma, too. Especially in Cambodian party, we have many, many, many poems related to Hinduism. In the leading party, there’s a man who lead the meeting, before we celebrate, we usually pray for the Gods that stay in the Hinduism, too. And because of this culture, the richman, before he starting a program, he usually raise his hand, salute and pray for the gods, and say ‘please’ refer to Shiva God, and ask for His blessing before we start a meeting. And as the kindod we say it refer to Oma God. So, it mean that, in Cambodia right now, we related a lot of poems to the Hinduism. Even right now, we are follow the Buddhism, but we have never forgot the Hinduism. And today, I am so happy that I have never think that I can have time to meet all the Hinduism people come to make a big meeting like this. I am so happy and glad to make my commitment that I will strongly communicate from Cambodia with India because we have a same religion, like Buddhism and Hinduism, that there’s only stay the same in the past until now. And at the end, as my request, hope, Brahmahas, Mandalas and all sort of people, please come to visit Cambodia again. Thank you so much, have a good day.” Bhagwan Paramahamsa Nithyananda, from Satsang 16th December 2014, Cambodia Inner Awakening
