Switching to organic does not make you lose weight. Eliminating carbs does not make you lose weight. Staying away from sugar does not make you lose weight. Going paleo does not make you lose weight. Counting your macros does not make you lose weight. Using coconut oil instead does not make you lose weight. This list can go on and on an on. Eating LESS calories than you BURN makes you lose weight. It doesnt matter where those calories come from. Of course, if you cut out refined carbohydrate based foods and instead eat nothing, or a lean protein, that may result in eating fewer calories, which could result in weight loss. It all comes down to the numbers.
