Syabas challenges MCA to go to MACC Water concessionaire Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas) has challenged MCA and anyone who claims to have evidence of illegal water selling to lodge a graft complaint. Syabas spokesperson Priscilla Alfred Dharan also said that it has lodged a police report against MCA on the matter. She added that Syabas has also written to MCA to ask for evidence to be supplied within a certain period “before further action can be taken”. “We would like to stress that the terms of procedures for purchases (by commercial entities) using private tankers have long been in place. As such, Syabas sees the claims as baseless and very serious,” she said in a statement. Full story: malaysiakini/news/260747
