Synagogue Church Guest House Collapse: Matters Arising Am surprised that up till now, five days after the disaster, the federal government has not issued a statement. They left the church to be making all the statements. This is wrong. This matter is beyond the church. Nigerians and foreigners are among the casualties. So government should come out with a very clear statement in the interim assuring Nigerians and the international community that a very thorough investigation would be carried out to establish the remote and immediate cause of the collapse. I dont know why we keep doing things in reverse mode. Does the Federal Government need an adviser before doing this simple duty? Or has it been done and I am not aware? Somebody should please tell me.
