System has been down since 3 am yesterday. The vendors tech was giving me all these reasons why he cant resolve this issue. I told him to get on the phone, order a new server and install it. He starts talking about his people are saying they really are not responsible for this system, yet he has been here two days. So I leave the room, call to the top of his management chain, conference him with my bosses and low and behold the tech is now moving at the speed of light to get this issue resolved. So hard to get people to do what they are paid to do.
