What You Will Be Doing As A Travel Advisor As a Travel Advisor you’ll bring the magic of holidays alive for our customers with your personality, professionalism and personalised service. You will understand your customers using our customer account details to help you seek ways to surprise and delight, and your knowledge will help us work as one team, answering questions across the globe. There’ll be technology to embrace so you can discuss, recommend and provide suitable products and services, and where appropriate, promote and assist our customers to selfserve online. You’ll inspire and respect your colleagues whilst sharing a great sense of fun. If things don’t go quite right, you’ll be confident to investigate and resolve every query or complaint on the spot. You’ll thrive on change and challenge, seizing the opportunity to assist with incidents and emergencies, but regardless you’ll always ‘go that extra smile’. Your desire to achieve will spur you on to exceed all company, sales and service targets. Responsibilities also include accurate weekly accounting and compliance to company procedures. In addition to Thomson and First Choice Holidays, your scope will include our range of Cruise, UK and other exciting holiday products and with these comes a varied administration role. Finally, you’ll be comfortable to handle multiple currencies and assume the upkeep and responsibility of running your local shop.
