TATHS AGM & CONFERENCE 2015 CHATHAM KENT 1st-3rd May Check & note in your diary NOW!! This bumper weekend will commence with a full days visit and guide to the Historic Dockyard Chatham with access to the rope walk. On Friday only we have arranged with Rochester Museum for the Seaton Chest to be removed from display and exclusively available to our delegates / Society members where you will be able to examine & handle the exhibits. An evening meal & get together with a speaker has been arranged at our hotel, The Holiday Inn Rochester. Saturday will begin with an excellent speaker followed by our formal AGM & buffet lunch. A change is proposed to our recent format in that we will have our member displays & 10-15 minute talks during the afternoon. This will relieve a lot of travelling for members & again afford the opportunity for a good chat. It will also help in cataloguing the Auction Lots. The Saturday evening formal dinner will be at about 7.30 pm after which the auction will be held. Sunday we are going to the “Shepherd & Neame Brewery” for a 2 hour tour. This should entail a chance to see all the various brewing processes & a little sampling!! The site is not suitable for wheelchairs but facilities will be available for a virtual tour so that everyone has the same experience. During this weekend “The Sweeps Festival” is being held in Rochester which may be an added interest to our partners. Further visits of interest /museums will be included in the delegates pack.
