TBU ~ LESSER KNOWN TRACKS: Paul McCartney sings a hard rocker called ANGRY. ANGRY was released as the B side to the song Stranglehold in October of 1986 and was recorded in the spring of 1985. It was produced by Hugh Padgham and Paul McCartney. Stranglehold was a rare McCartney single that stiffed and was taken from his album PRESS TO PLAY. The subject of the tune is self evident. Paul was pissed at the critics who held his family lifestyle against him. It was as if the image of being an out of control rocker actually had more to do with rock and roll music than the ability to write, play and sing it ... something Paul McCartney has NEVER had trouble doing. A very hard to sing rocker that builds and becomes more complex as the song goes along. An underrated gem in my opinion. Mike Montana.
