TESDA Scholarship - PSDS Inc. TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) training center at BISU Bilar offers the following nationally certified (NC2) training in these fields:1. Electrical Installation and Maintenance2. Carpentry3. Commercial Cooking4. Food Processing5. Driving The average training period is 455 hours (about 55 days). After training, student will undergo a level two national certification (NC2). This certification hopefully will enhance his/her chance of gaining employment in the selected field. There is no tuition except for course assessment for supplies. It is estimated that the total cost to pursue training in any of the above fields including transportation and meals is P5000. The scholarship requires the student to be a high school graduate with a grade point average of 80% and must satisfy a personal interview by PSDS Inc. representative. Student is required to pay one-fifth of the total cost (P1000) at the start and the scholarship will assume the remaining balance. Funding will be done directly to the school and to transportation and food services selected by PSDS Inc. When the student gets the NC2 certification, the P1000 will be refunded.
