THADO (SHEETALA SATAM) IS ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 27, 2013 Thado is the cold offering of food. It is observed one day before Janmashtami to appease the Goddess Sheetala Devi Mata. On this day, a lot of Bhatia households do no light fire in the kitchen and cold meals are eaten throughout the day.
