But, the Word of God is spirit and life. (John 6:63) When you bless yourself or anyone else by proclaiming Scripture, far more than your personal power is put into motion. You come into partnership with God and His power: the power resident in His Word.hono The Power of Words? God’s creative power is released through His Word. God spoke creation into existence. Our universe is increasing as you read this. It is increasing and the speed of sound. A possible conclusion is that what God spoke in the beginning is still moving, creating, blessing: Isaiah 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Pray the truth and blessings of God’s Word and you pray not only out of your own heart and intent, but out of the heart and intent of God. The power of Heaven is released in response to your prayer-blessings. And the power of the blessing does not stop until its purpose is accomplished. It doesn’t get any better than this! That is up to God and His wisdom. If you pray blessings today and don’t see results by morning, don’t believe that you prayed in vain. Also, the results may surprise you. After all, God is at work and His plans are bigger than yours or mine r an Your words carry creative power, for better or worse. Choose the better and BLESS! If you and I commit today to more seriously release the blessings as part of our prayer life, as part of our Christian walk, we will take our places among those world changers who know this secret. d glory. 2. We nam Psalm 89:15-18 makes a good “prayer of blessing” to pray for loved ones: TO MY FAMILY[THE BODY OF CHRIST[AND ALL MY FACEBOOK FRIENDS! – (:15) may they “walk in the light of Your countenance”: may they, all through the day, walk with an awareness of Your presence and glory! – (:16a) may they “rejoice in Your name all the day”: may their day be filled with joy — not just “happiness” based on worldly circumstances, but an eternal kind of joy, based on who God is. – (:16b) “by Your righteousness” may they be “exalted”: may they understand that they are truly made righteous through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and may their spirits be lifted up because they know they have been made right with God through Him. – (:17a) may You be “the glory of their strength”: may God strengthen them with His power and glory for all they need to do today. – (:17b) “by Your favor” may “their horn be exalted”: may God’s blessing and favor be upon everything they put their hand to this day! – (:18a) may their “shield belong to the Lord”: may God protect and keep them in every way today! – (:18b) may their “King be the Holy One of Israel”: may God reign as King over every aspect of their lives this day! Who are the dear friends and loved ones for whom you would intercede today? Lift them up using God’s own words from Psalm 89 as you bless them today! e the specific needs that we have found in our area of authority and in the lives of our leaders, families, church and work. 3.
