By Marxist Eghaghe Fame I hereby totally frawn at the attitude of the state governor Comrade Eric Adams A. Oshiomhole over the heartless demolition of the house of Prof Godwin Osayuki Oshiodin the former vice chancellor of university of benin. There is no doubt that the Nigeria Land use act of 1978 was an oppressive act that gave power to the government to suppress their subject.non the less,it is on record that section 43 and 44 of Nigeria 1999 constitution gave power to every Nigeria Citizens to own both movable and immovable property and I see no reason for the demolition of the house of the former vice chancellor of University of Benin because no other laws superceed that of the Nigeria 1999 constititution as contained in his preheamble. It is on this note,we will be calling on the state government to make a public appeal and if u like call it public apology to professor Godwin Oshiodin before it will be too late as i hereby call on all Civil rights activist in Benin to join in solidarity with professor G.O.Oshiodin because no man is free when others are being oppressed.
