THE BEST STRIKING PARTERSHIPS Ive EVER WATCHED 1. Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke ( Manchester United 1996ish - 2000) These two had chemistry like no other strikers. They were almost totally insync. 2. Ivan Zamarano and Marcelo Salas ( Chile 1994ish- 1998) One of the best ever striking partnerships at international level. 3. Hassan Mubiru and Andrew Mukasa ( Uganda Under 23 1998ish -2002) The two are remembered in Zambia for tearing All Africa Game Finalists Zambian Under 23 defence line during an Olympics Qualifier. 4. Musole Sakulanda and Frazer Kamwandi ( Nkana 1997-2000) The two were probably one of the best partnerships to have graced Zambian football and terrorised Zambian defences. One of the best ever striking partnerships Ive seen at 5. Ronaldo and Alvaro Recoba ( Inter Milan late 1990s) Ronaldo and Alvaro Recobas chemistry was off the chart and save for Ronaldos reccurent injuries this would have developed into the best ever partnership in Word football. 6. Ahmed Mido and Amir Zaki ( Egypt and Zamalek) This on and off partnership was at one time one of the most lethal in African football. Partnerships that failed to tick. Hernan Crespo and Gabriel Batistuta ( Argentina) Both were rumoured not to like each other and rarey passed each other the ball. Pappis Cisse and Demba Ba ( Newcastle and Senegal) While they both scored a lot of goals when they were both on the field they failed to link up effectively for both club and country. Thierry Henry and Nicholas Anelka ( France) Never ever seen as striker partners and the few times they played side by side France rarely did well. Coach Aime Jaqcuet preferred playing either of them with Christophe Duggary or David Trezeguet.
