THE CLEAN BREAK STOP SMOKING PROGRAM STOP SMOKING THE CLEAN BREAK The CLEAN BREAK Stop Smoking Program (four week group format) will be from 5:30-7:00 PM every Thursday for 4-weeks starting, Thursday, September 19th, 2013. The goal of the program is to provide a smoking cessation seminar which will give clients techniques to break the cycle of nicotine addiction and improve their health. The clients will learn: - information about smoking that will help motivate them to quit. -powerful mental tools to eliminate the urge to smoke. -new skills and behaviors to use to quit smoking and stay abstinent. - how to use techniques to prevent weight gain. -relaxation techniques. - a "mental aversion" technique which will make the thought of smoking unpleasant. -to recognize smoking triggers and how to avoid them. - to identify possible obstacles to remaining nicotine free and to develop strategies to overcome the obstacles. In addition to the four week program, each client will be offered an individual (1.5 hours) hypnotherapy session.
