THE DREAM GIVETH, THE DREAM TAKETH AWAY: So there I was, sleeping contentedly on my bed, and the woman of my dreams pops up, and theres all this warm fuzzy happiness, heart pounding, great expectations . . . and were talking to each other, sharing things, and its so great. And then, out of the blue, Robert DeNiro makes HIS cameo appearance, and starts throwing his lines at her, and you know right then and there its Game Over, Tilt . . . whatever. Next thing I know, shes got her head on his shoulder, and then hes helping her on with her coat, and you know theyre going somewhere and they have NO intention of having me come along. And what would be the point? (So, dreams are wish fulfillments, are they, Dr. Freud?)
