C) The candidate should have at least fifteen (15) years post-honors degree and ten (10) years post professional qualification experience. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Director of Works and Maintenance is the Chief Technical Officer and Maintenance of the University and responsible to the Vice-chancellor for the day to day running and maintenance of University building, Roads, Water boreholes, Electronic Installations, Equipment and other properties including provision of service and utilities for the well-being of the University. QUALIFICATIONS Applicants must: A) Have a good honours degree in Civil/Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering registrable with COREN with at least fifteen (15) years post-qualification experience in Engineering, Building, and Architecture.
