THE GIFT OF DISCERNING OF SPIRITS We have entered the endtimes, and the Spirit of God has been poured out like never before because Jesus is coming back and multitudes still need to be saved fast. Now the work of winning souls must be accompanied by the evidence of the power of God. The purpose of the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit is to enable ALL believers to DO the works of Christ that He began when He was on earth, (Acts 1:1-2, 12-15; 1Cor. 1:7; Rom.12:3-8; 1Cor 12:4-31; 14:1-40; Heb. 2:3-4) This gifts are given to confirm the gospel and to demonstrate the power of God. The Gift of Discerning of Spirits refers to the power of supernatural revelation or insight into the realm of spirits. It manifests by supernatural dreams, trances and visions of several types. It is one of the three gifts of revelation the other two being Word of knowledge (forensic) and Word of Knowledge. Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Evangelists, Teachers & every born-again believer ought to have this gift in this endtime. With this gifts servants of God see the realm of angels and demons. Heaven and Hell visitations, encounters with the Lord Jesus and other awestrucking sights. The Gift used in scripture: Mt. 9:4; 12:25; 16:23; Mk. 1:34; 2:8; Lk. 7:36-50; 8:2; Jhn 1:48-51; 2:24-25; 4:16-19. PRAYER: Father this morning I have learnt about the gift of discerning of Spirits, I humble my self and Im asking you Lord to open my eyes to the supernatural world. Today I receive this gift into my spirit. Holy Spirit I surrender to you Lord show me your will for my life as I sleep today.
