All crew members shall have been members in good standing of their respective HYRA organization as of February 1, 2013. Challenges shall be forwarded to the Rear Commodore of the Defender of Record, the Kaneohe Yacht Club, no later than August 31st, 2013. ENTRY FEE: There shall be an HYRA entry fee of $50.00 paid with the Application to Challenge. Checks made payable to H.Y.R.A. The defender may have an additional entry fee noted within their notice of race. RULES: The event shall be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS 2013-2016) and the Authorization to Award the Hawaii Sir Thomas Lipton One Design Challenge Cup Modification #11 dated August 15th, 2013 and the Cal 20 Class Association Rules (available upon request from Kaneohe Yacht Club) BOATS: The event shall be conducted in Cal 20’s. All participants shall sail in their own Cal 20 (owned, borrowed or chartered). The Kaneohe Yacht Club shall work with the Kaneohe YC Cal 20 fleet to encourage its members to make boats available to participants. FOREMAT: The number of races and the length of the course(s) shall be determined by the Defending Club (Kaneohe Yacht Club) and provided with the Sailing instructions that shall be made available at the Skippers Meeting. The Defending Club is encouraged to conduct the event on short courses and have between 6 and 12 races.
