THE MESSAGE OF GODS GRACE-JUST ANOTHER NOISE? But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus,TO TESTIFY TO THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD. (Acts 20:24). These Grace guys are here again,they love the sweet and cheap talk,always talking GRACE GRACE GRACE,what exactly is it with them? Im sure that it is just a wave of the moment,it will soon die down like many that we have known!!! Has that thought crossed your mind before? Or it even just did now as you began reading this? Not totally your fault,maybe you have not understood the Scriptures as you should.Shut up you say again, thats how they always do,claiming freedom to do anything,and backing it with Scriptures,they do like they know all.I bet it that everything will soon become stale again. No friend! NO! It wont happen! The Message of Grace is here to stay,for many reasons.And most important is because it is the Message of Gods Grace,it is of God,it is the final card that God has played to give the earth to His sons.Theres a second important reason. Did you notice from the opening text that the Ministry that our Apostle Paul received from the Lord Jesus Christ is the MINISTRY OF TESTIFYING TO THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD? Have you ever noticed that His Gospel,like he usually referred to it,was the Gospel of Gods Grace? That means that essentially,all the Epistles that he wrote to churches were EPISTLES OF THE GRACE OF GOD. Everything he was called to do,his Ministry,if you understand the meaning of that word was all summarised in the Message of Gods Grace.No wonder that He said he didnt count his life dear to himself,and that he was ready to die for that Gospel of Grace.Ill say the same too. It all started in heaven,but on earth,where did all these start from? THE GARDEN. Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned- (Rom 5:12) Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom 5:19-21). It is crystal clear from all we read that it all started to shape up in the Garden.When Adam fell,sin came in and death followed through.Therefore,sin used the weapon of death to rule man,up until the time the Grace of God and the gift of righteousness showed up through our Lord Jesus Christ. Now you see clearly from that Scripture that GRACE IS THE ANSWER THAT GOD GAVE TO SIN.Grace is the antidote that God had prepared from the foundation of the world to end the reign of sin.Now note that sin was so powerful that when it came into the world,it brought death with it and alongside death came sickness,poverty,evil and all the negative things that has been seen in the world. Now,the answer that God has prepared from time is GRACE. GRACE IS THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF SIN.Grace brings all the opposite of what sin brings.Grace is the container,the package with which God gave us everything that He gave us.You can give Grace different definitions,but much more than that,GRACE is a person,and therefore comes through a person,and Christ Himself is GRACE(Jn 1:17) He is what our actions never deserved or merited,He is what God did for us,that we could not do ourselves,He is the inner working of God in us now.He is the epitome of Gods goodness,mercy and love to us.GRACE IS CHRIST. So like I said,He was the answer to all the mess that the devil through sin caused.And so the Gospel of Gods Grace is the Gospel of the person of Christ,the Gospel is all about the finished work of Christ-the sacrificial and substitutionary work,our dying and being raised with Him,now always sitted with Him in the heavenly place of rest,enjoying all that God has provided for us through that sacrifice! THAT IS THE GOSPEL! So,I have the doubters,and they will say they are not convinced.My friend,this is the GOSPEL TRUTH.God sent Grace to end the reign of sin.That is why the shocking portion,Rom 5:20 is still hardly believed..where sin abounded,Grace abounded much more. Thats not a past tense,the Word is living and present.My friend,it is true! Sin is the problem,Grace is the solution,and the solution must be greater than the problem,the answer must dissolve the question. Take this example; Fire is burning in a place and you want to stop it.We all know that water quenches fire.So when you want to put the fire out,what do you do?You add water.So if you add water and the fire doesnt stop,what do you do? Do you stop adding water?NO.Instead,you increase the water. In other words,you supply more water and probably increase the channel of water supply until the fire is quenched out.Did you see that?That is the simple explanation to Rom. 5:20...
