THE MINISTRY AND COMPANIONSHIP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.Genesis 1;1-4 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[a] in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14;16-18,26 Friends, the concept of light is the foundation of all creation and human/non-human existence.This light is a direct manifestation of the Holy Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit is the direction and pathfinder which blazes and points us to the holy heaven of a holy,amiable and welcoming God. It is the doing arm of the trinity(God-in-council); In the Holy Spirit contains the seven excellent attributes/characters of God which stands Him in a unique stead shoulders above all beings. There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots. 2 The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.Isaiah 11;1-2 These include the following; 1.The spirit /character of love. 2.The spirit/character of wisdom. 3.The spirit/character of might(power). 4.The spirit/character of counsel. 5.The spirit/character of knowledge. 6.The spirit /character of understanding. 7.The spirit /character of grace. It is instructive to note that these attributes of a holy God help us to faithfully and efficiently accomplish the divine will and purposes of God in our lives.They are the spiritual dynamos that powers and propels the heaven bound christian believers towards the narrow,persecution -prone way to heaven,thus making our christian ministries/election real, fruitful and rewarding.The Holy Spirit releases the divine power to help us live a good christian life-the project God has given to every one of us to commence and finish during our earthly pilgrimage. It is what guarantees or cements our salvation and keeps us blameless until our Lord and savior ,Jesus Christ returns. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Ephesians 4;30 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.John 1;12-13 ...how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.Acts 10;38 (Romans 8;4,13-16) Friends ,we desire truly to accomplish the stewardship which God has given to us ,we really the ability to do it;And the Holy Spirit will surely supply,in abundance, the divine power and grace to generate this ability to start and finish this kingdom work.Trust Him to do this efficiently as well as beautify and polish our christian lives and ministries preparatory for the rapture. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human[b] wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.1 Corinthians 2;4-5(John 3;3-5;Corinthians 1;22;Acts 8;14-17;Acts 2;4) Friends, one great function of the Holy Spirit is to testify or witness of God and to help us discern between evil and good/righteousness. It assists the christian believers identify and separate from evil/sin and all forms of ungodly associations and fellowships,as a result lean towards a Holy and welcoming God. We must therefore beware of so called counterfeit spirit or anointing by enlisting the support and direction of the Holy Spirit ,so we can be free from the errors of the last days. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.[d] I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will[e] abide in Him.1 John 5;20,21,26,27 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.1 John 4;1 The Holy Spirit of God is freely available and is willing to release Gods power,energy,revelation(Divine Direction),wisdom and His companionship to the sanctified and consecrated christian believers to enable them fulfill the dispensation of kingdom stewardship/work God has committed into their hands.Please do not detach from the ministry ,support and companionship of the holy Spirit.It is the divine seal or guarantee for your hard-earned salvation secured freely for you on the cross of deliverance/life/Redemption. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.Ephesians 4;30 My prayer for Gods saints,the world over, is that we strive at all cost to desire and ask for the infilling of the Holy Spirit with its accompanying gifts,fruit and fragrance,in Jesus sacred name//Amen.
