THE NEW CECIL RHODES IS HERE Now imagine Zambia has a new problematic Cecil Rhodes in the name of HH (Hammer House/House of Horror), the man who can not smile, you can remember a day he smiled because his rear at smiles. It is a shocking revelations that a foreign conspiracy that mining companies want to make Hakainde Hichilema president. Voters deserve to know more about what sort of arrangements HH has made with these businesses, and what the country would have to sacrifice were he to be elected president. HH a puppet for mining companies that continue to extract wealth from our land and leave us poor and hungry. Is that not the most shameful outcome imaginable? What is the nature of the deal that HH made with these wealthy foreigners? What has he promised them in return for their support? If a presidential candidate has already sold out Zambia, perhaps promising them mining assets, favorable conditions, or some sort of other unsavoury deal, then we as voters deserve to know exactly what this deal consists of. HH must come forward and explain what he has mortgaged from our futures to get into power. The multibillionaire Oppenheimer dynasty from South Africa wants to make sure that HH wins, and made elaborate plans to make sure that their ‘Manchurian Candidate’ was pushed through to knock out the Patriotic Front. “A former managing partner in accountancy firm Grant Thornton, Hichilema played a key role in the privatisation of Zambia’s copper mines; accordingly, he is revered by mining companies but excoriated by trades unionists.” Mr Hichilema has a well known long history of working with foreign miners, as he played a key role in selling off Zambia’s natural resource wealth to foreign parties. It is very surprising that his opponents to not take him to task on these issues. Keep in mind that at the time HH was heading up Grant Thornton under late President Frederick Chiluba’s administration, he oversaw the highly disputed privatisations of Roan Antelope Mining Corporation (RAMCOZ), Kagem Mine, Lima Bank and Hotel Intercontinental in Livingstone. Many sources say that these properties were corruptly sold, and that the government was given a very raw deal.
