THE PASSIONATE WALK TO VICTORY 21 December 2014 – 29 December 2014 R22,950.00 Per Person Sharing. R3500 deposit, Monthly Payments and final payment 75 days before departure. Day 1: Departure from Johannesburg – (Sunday 21 December 2014) Our journey begins as we depart on overnight flight. Get some rest as our journey starts tomorrow as you will walk where Yeshua walked! Day 2: (Monday 22 December 2014) Caesarea Maritima; Mt. Carmel (Muhraka); Jezreel, Megiddo Valley We take our journey along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea to Caesarea, where Gentiles first heard the Good News from Peter and were baptized. We’ll see the Roman Amphitheatre, hippodrome, a film on history and remains of this famous port city, and aqueduct, and then journey on to Mt. Carmel, where Elijah challenged King Ahab and the prophets of Baal. Next we travel through the Jezreel Valley to Megiddo, the Armageddon Battlefield, where archaeologists have unearthed 20 levels of civilization. We visit Neot Kedumim, the Biblical Landscape Reserve. We will have dinner and overnight lodging for the next two nights in the Tiberias area on the Sea of Galilee. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner. Overnight: Tiberius Day 3: (Tuesday 23 December 2014) Banias, Caesarea Philippi, Mount of the Beatitudes, Tabgha, Capernaum, Yeshua Boat, and Boat Ride A very early morning drive through the hills of Galilee continuing toward Tiberius for a spectacular view of the northern Sea of Galilee allowing for an excellent time of teaching on the region of Yeshua ministry.Next we view the Golan Heights and visit Banias (ancient Caesarea Philipi), here we learn about Israel who fell to the depths of pagan worship and which is also the site of Peter’s confession. We travel on to the Mount of the Beatitudes the site of the Sermon on the Mount and for a beautiful view of the entire Galilee. We visit Tabgha the site of the multiplication of loaves and fishes and then two valuable northern sites emphasizing the loss of Gods blessing on Israel. Dan is where the children of Capernaum formed what has been called the evangelical triangle, because most of Yeshua’ miracles in Galilee were performed in these cities. The highlight of the day is when we visit the Jesus Boat and end our day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner. Overnight: Tiberius Day 4: (Wednesday 24 December 2014) Jordan Valey, Judean Desert, Bethabara, Dead sea Ahavah Minerals, Masada, Ein Gedi, Dead Sea We start our day with Jordan Valey and the Judean desert towards Quasar-El-Yahud, the Biblical place Bethabara Bethabara. A place that played an important role in the life of Jesus, as he returned there many times after his baptism. He went there, for example, after his rejection in Jerusalem during the Feast of Dedication, “He went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode.” (John 10.40). We visit the Dead Sea Minerals Factory before we make our way to Masada for a Cable car ride to the mountain top fortress of Masada. We proceed to Ein Gedi, Spring of the Goat, an oasis on the western shore of the Dead Sea. We visit the Nahal David stream on the northern side of Ein-Gedi. It is known for its springs, caves and history. This is where David hid from Saul, and where God defeated the enemies of the Israelites by praise and worship led by King Jehoshaphat. Our day ends with a relaxing float in the Dead Sea. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner. Overnight: Jerusalem Day 5 : (Thursday 25 December 2014) Yad Vashem - Mount Zion – Dormition Abbey – Last Supper Room – King David Tomb – St. Peter in Galicantu church. Old City – St. Anne – Pools of Bethsaida – Stations of the Cross – Rabbinic tunnels. After breakfast our morning start with a visit to Yad Vashem. We drive to Mt. Zion and worship in the Upper Room (Luke 22) - the traditional site where Yeshua instituted the Lord’s Supper and where later Thomas cried, My Lord and my God”. Visit the Tomb of King David and walk through the historic Jewish Quarter. We continue through the Old City to St. Anne Church and the Pool of Bethesda. We will walk along the 14 Stations of the Cross - the Via Dolorosa, to visit the Judgment Hall of Pilate all the way to the the Holy Sepulcher (Matt. 27. 33-57, 28.10) and experience the Rabbic tunnels. We end the evening with a Jerusalem Night show, Meals: Breakfast and Dinner. Overnight: Jerusalem Day 6: (Friday 26 December 2014) Manger Square / Church of Nativity / Milk Grotto / Shepherd Field / Mount of Olives – Panoramic view – Dominus Flevit / Palm Sunday road / Garden of Gethsemane / Church of All Nations / Wailing Wall - Succat Hallel Since 1995, Bethlehem has been under the control of the Palestinian National Authority. Today we visit Church of the Nativity on Manger Square. We visit Milk Grotto known as the place where Mary nursed Christian village of Beit Sahour (or Bait Sahur), which includes the Shepherds Fields identified since ancient times where the shepherds seen the Star. (Luke 2:8-10). We walk where Yeshua walked and head to the top of the Mount of Olives to stand where the Lord ascended into heaven. (Acts 1). The Mount of Olives is a breathtaking view of the city across the Kidron Valley to the Eastern Gate where the Prince of Peace will enter (Ezekiel 44). We will pass by Pater Noster Church and visit Dominus Flevit where “the Lord wept” as he beheld the Holy City. We will take the Palm Sunday Road down to the Garden of Gethsemane where we will see 2,000 year old olive trees that date back to the time of Christ. As Jerusalem prepares for the beginning of the Shabbat we will join in prayer at the Western Wall. We end our day at Succat Hallel overlooking Mount Zion and the Old City of Jerusalem to stand together as watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem. We return to our hotel for Shabbat dinner. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner. Overnight: Jerusalem Day 7: (Saturday 27 December 2014) Garden Tomb – He has risen, He is not here. We enjoy free time or join with local group in prayer. The climax of our day is when we visit the Garden Tomb, where we will celebrate the Resurrection in prayer time (Luke 23). We spend an evening at the shores of Tel Aviv and take a walk to Jaffa the Oldest port city in the world. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner. Overnight: Tel Aviv Day 8: (Sunday 28 December 2014) Home Today our journey will start our journey back home. We depart from Tel Aviv at 11am. Optional: If safety permits and for those who would like to visit the Pyramids and the Sphinx and the Mokattam Mountain are welcome. We make our journey back home at 22:55 and have a good rest on the flight. Day 9: (Monday 29 December 2014) We arrive in South Africa at 07:05 after a wonderful spiritual time.
