THE POWER OF YOUR THOUGHTS Memory Verse: Because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed” (Mk 5:28). Read: Mark 5:25-27 25: And a woman was there who had been subjected to bleeding for twelve years. 26: She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. 27: When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him the crowd and touched his cloak. 28: Because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed” 29: Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. Message The above verses tell the sad story of a woman who suffered a great deal for twelve years because of the issue of blood. What is interesting about this woman is that her solution was not far from her, it was in her mind. For twelve long years, she sought for the intervention of doctors, but they could not help her. Until she intentionally thought about how she could get healed. She acted out her thought by faith and the miraculous happened!! Notice that, neither the woman nor Jesus prayed, instead, her thought was enough to bring her the solution. A problem of twelve years was solved within a second, just because of a thought put into action, fuelled by faith! Action Point Where you find yourself faced with the same problem for many years and perhaps have consulted many experts in attempts to seek for a solution, but are yet without any. I would like to encourage you to stop looking for solution outside, instead, look within you. You have within you the mind of Christ and it is from this mind that the solutions to your problems are (1Cor 3:16).
