***THE SECRET IS OUT! NOW WHAT? OPINIONS PLEASE!!!*** We’re so honored that the November issue of TulsaKids magazine has named TRANQUILITY HOLLOW as one of the “Hidden Hip Children’s Party” places in the Tulsa area! See the cleverly-written article by Jill VanTrease below. Based on the inquiries coming in from that article, the overwhelming response to HAUNTED HOLLOW and all the questions about future events, we’ve started thinking more about our long term goals. In addition to the Swimmin’ and Fishin’ Holes, the current zip line, the picnic areas and fire pits, and all the trails to explore throughout the woods, we have an amazing opportunity to add to the family fun in the HOLLOW in the coming years. We’ve considered adding more zip line runs which would include a fun family-style challenge course and natural elements play areas, individual and family cabins, campgrounds, an event “Barn”, horses available for trail rides and Pony Parties, Horse and Buggy Rides through the woods, miniature animal petting, feeding and grooming areas, an archery range, paintball and air-soft range, and more. TRANQUILITY HOLLOW will always be reserved for private family celebrations of all kinds, including weddings, birthday parties, and reunions, as well as church and corporate retreats, where your family or group will have exclusive use of the property. However, occasionally, we’ll open for short events similar to HAUNTED HOLLOW where the public will be invited, but a reservation system will be in place to limit the numbers according to the parking areas available. There are no promises here about what we will or will not add, but before going forward on any expansion plans, we want to make sure there would be sufficient interest to warrant the time and expense involved. Much preparation would be involved and this winter will be an excellent time for that.
