Robert Joseph Evans in his shop. He was a wheelwright, millwright, farmer, miller, ferrier,and blacksmith. He could build or fix anything and taught his sons to do the same. He was an amateur horticulturist, and mined his own coal for his forge. His shop was located in part of Grahams storage building, and he lived across the street from the old Church of Christ, which is now the parking lot for Thriftys. He worked in his shop until he had a stroke abt. 1959 or 1960. He died abt. 1966.
