THE SEVEN CHAKRAS AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Just as every human being has seven major chakras that start at the base of the spine and extend to the top of the head, all nations and cities on the planet also have chakras in the atmosphere over their populations. As we complete the observance of Martin Luther Kings Day 2015, and ponder his message of a United States of America filled with fraternity and brotherhood among its citizens, we must evaluate if we are closer to manifesting Dr. Kings Dream. And if we havent, why? It is no secret that the United States of America has endured a past and to a certain degree, a present of great racial challenge. And yet, in spite of Americas racial difficulties this resilient people has succeeded in overcoming many a daunting obstacle that other countries may not have been able to overcome. Many social scientists, sociologists, visionary, and dreamer asks: What can be done to heal the United States stubborn racial ills once and for all? Metaphysically working with this countrys chakras could provide a great boon, for one! First, we must know which of the major cities correspond to the seven major chakras. Then, having this knowledge, the healing process can begin. The seven chakras, starting with the base chakra and moving to the crown chakra and the corresponding cities are: Base chakra: Miami Seat of the soul chakra: Los Angeles Solar plexus chakra: Detroit Heart chakra: Chicago Throat chakra: Washington, D.C. Crown chakra: Boston Third eye chakra: New York Knowing which city corresponds to a certain chakra can generally determine the mental, economic, social and even spiritual challenges and/or victories that each city will face. One can look at a city and be able to determine where said American city is at on the path of fulfilling the purpose of that citys chakras. It should also be pointed out that, in addition to the cities named, there are other cities that share one of the chakras, too. For example: San Francisco, San Diego, Albuquerque, New Orleans, are all base chakras. St. Louis, where so much racial turmoil has erupted recently, is a heart chakra along with Chicago. And so on and so forth. A daily experiment in working with Americas major chakras---and healing the cities---could be the following. If one is adept in visualization and meditation one can visualize the most congested part of ones city (usually the downtown area) with alternating overlays of calming rose-pink and lavender lights over the city. Hold this vision for as long as one can without straining. See the downtown area, or any area of Americas cities, literally saturated in this pink first, and then, lavender light. Those who are comfortable with saying affirmations can try the following experiment. Starting with the major base chakra of the United States, Miami, say as a powerful affirmation, three times: Miami is a city of Violet Fire! Miami is a city that God desires! If you dont feel comfortable using the word God feel free to substitute it with any word of your choice that would convey a meaning of other-earthly power. You can say: Mother Earth desires. Go through all seven cities/chakras, saying the affirmation three times each for each city, and hold the visualization of these cities being bathed in a beautiful lavender to deep purple moving light. Saying these affirmations should take no longer than 5 or 6 minutes, even in a slow voice. After finishing, FEEL and BELIEVE that you have participated in the healing of America even without leaving the comfort of your desk or Easy Chair. Knowing which chakra corresponds to which city can also help one decide which place in the country would resonate with ones career, financial, mental and even romantic goals. Remember, ALL nations and cities vibrate with a different chakra and all humans on the planet will experience the characteristics and qualities of said chakra. As more people begin working with the chakras of Americas cities, maybe we can bring Dr. Kings Dream into fruition. Hopeful, Michael Chmielski
