THE STAR. ‘When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.’ Matt. 2:10 When God told me to start writing and publishing these write ups, I just obeyed even though I never knew what it would cost me and how I would meet the cost of publishing them. This was also the case with Mary the mother of Jesus Christ; she was to give birth to Christ and then become responsible for His uptake, but how to meet the need of the burden the Lord had laid on her she never knew. Whenever God calls us into doing something for Him, He won’t tell us all the cost of getting such thing done, because the burden of supplies should be on Him and not us. God supplies every financial and moral requirement to get His work laid on us done. But our role is to take up the responsibility by faith; believing that whatsoever God requires of us, He supplies. Mary after doing her part in accepting the purpose of God for her life, a star from a far country began to lead some wise men bearing gifts that are required to take care of baby Jesus to Mary. When we accept by faith the work the Lord had laid on our shoulders despite our limited resources, God stirs up supplies somewhere beyond our imagination to meet our ministerial needs. Remember in Matthew Christ said,… that your heavenly father knows you need these things. Just say yes to the purpose of God through your life and a star would be stirred somewhere directing wise men to meet all your needs. YOU SUPPLY THE WILLINGNESS; GOD SUPPLIES THE REQUIREMENT.
