THE WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE...!!! The wilderness is a barren, desolate, isolated, unfruitful place...it is a place of labour, pain, hardword, frustration, disappointmets etc I have realised in life, that the wilderness experience is Gods training/testing groung for greatness...I have realised that before U get to the Promised land, U have to pass through the Wilderness...Every person that aspires to be great in life, successful, powerful, anointed etc must go through the wilderness... Lets look at the Bible, God noticed that giving man greatness, success etc on a platter of Gold leads to disaster...that man does not appreciate it & therefore does not value it...Look at Adam and Eve, bcos dey were just placed in the Garden of Eden without any training or labouring for it, they took God for granted and disobeyed Him...God therefore brought d wilderness to train us... Abraham had to go through the wilderness to become the Father of All Nations, Moses had to go to the wilderness before he could lead the people of Israel out of Egypt...the Israelites had to go through the wilderness to get to the promised land...Joseph had to go through the wilderness(prison) to become the prime minister...Job had to go through the wilderness to get the double blessing...David had to go through the wilderness(shepherd) in order to confront Goliath, he also had to confront Goliath to prepare him to be King of Israel...John the Baptist had to go through the wilderness, Paul had to go through the wilderness(Damascus, blind for 3 days), not to talk about Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, He had to go through the Wilderness(fasted for 40days & 40nites & be tempted by the devil) before He could go into His ministry, not to talk of crying and sweating blood before His dead & resurrection...etc So the names given above are just to mention a few...this is just to potray to us that though we are going through our wilderness, its not that God has forgotten about us or that He doesnt care about us...He is just training us for the Bigger Glory...u have to take ur attention off the wilderness and focus on the bigger picture, the glory that awaits us...we have to remain in the wilderness until our training is complete...we shouldnt try to jump it or run away from it...cos if we are not fully moulded we will not be ready for the Glory...look at Moses, he wanted to be in a hurry to save the Israelites when he was not really ready...he killed an Egyptian and his own people turned against him...he had to run from Egypt... So no matter wat U are going through, dont be discouraged, dont think God doesnt love U, know that He loves U so much that He doesnt want U to fail dats y u have to go through this...Remember, He is always there beside U, to help & comfort U, to Hold U...He will never forsake U...so Dont GIVE UP, infact, NEVER EVER EVER GIVE UP...!!! Hold On, the suffering of the wilderness cannot be compared with the glory & blessings that awaits us after the wilderness...
