THIS IS DEPLORABLE! John Blake speaks with the devils tongue!!!!!!!!! He and CNN are spreading evil lies. Millions upon millions have been helped by churches, synagogues, and religious organizations. These institutions are the very cornerstones of Charity. What anti-religion fanatics and this government want to do is to turn people away from their religions (unless they are Muslim) so that church donations and funds are reduced and they are less able to assist the poor. Thereby making the needy more dependent on Big Brother government, and under government control. It is all a plot to create a Socialistic/secular society and country and make people trust the government more than they trust in God.. Then these people try to make Americans who do not support unending, top-heavy, redundant government social services and programs seem callous and mean because...they say...the Bible tells us it is our responsibility to help the less fortunate and if you dont support government programs you are not a good person. What they do not understand, because they really havent studied or understand the Bible, or many dont even believe in God, is that the Bible does NOT SAY that the GOVERNMENT is responsible, but rather INDIVIDUALS are the ones who should give, money and time personally, and not pass the job onto some government entity. Giving of oneself, without being forced to do so by some tax or government plan is the difference in being a Christian or Jewish and a person who is lazy and wants to cop out of personal responsibility. God does not reward a person who hands off the job of helping others to some agency or bureaucrat. God honors the person who makes personal sacrifices and gives willingly of his own volition, not one who, because it is a man-made law that makes him do so., thinks he is doing whats right. That is not the charity God instructed people to practice. Just look how millions of these Liberals are screaming now that they are finding out that it is their pockets that are going to be picked by the government to pay more for insurance so that Obamacare can cover those who cannot pay. They didnt realize how much they would have to suffer - and now they are not as happy to be charitable because they are being dropped from the insurance policies they liked and forced to buy more expensive coverage, or coverage they do not need under Obamacare. Their little piece of the world is being sapped, and suddenly they are waking up to what they would not face when the government health care program was up for a vote. They wouldnt listen to the realists and detractors who tried to tell them what was going to happen. Did they really think the government had money somewhere else and that wasnt going to affect their bank accounts? It all sounded so good and compassionate to them...help the uninsured...as long as the help was coming from the government. They were short-sighted and blinded by their emotions and desire that others would think they were such caring people that they didnt dare face the reality that when the government steps in they not only lose their money, they also lose their freedom. ~Maureen C.
