THIS LADY. Shes 19 today. I just dont even have words. Look to Sarah Barker for those :) But KATIE...never have I seen a student so transformed. It is one of the biggest joys in my ministry to be a part of her life and see every day how she is growing into who God wants her to be. I was privileged to stand in the water and baptize her. Shes my Timothy. She is unashamedly bold, stronger than she knows, an undeniable gift of leadership that were only scratching the surface of, and such a loyal and protective heart (you dont come in here and lead my mama on like that! ...Id beat dat sucka up) Not to mention... - five Andy Mineo concerts in one year - Hey, its ten pm, wanna go to Atlanta? And we hit the road... - being my assistant all. the time. I didnt even mention the daily car rides, starbucks stops, office hang outs, movie nights, LAUGHTER, and everything else that makes life with Katie so special. Shes my student, friend, sister, daughter...its a complication Im more than okay with.
